Prez Blackmon is best known as half of JDI Records contemporary gospel duo Renee Spearman and Prez. His cd entitled Dr. Bobby Jones presents Renee Spearman and Prez ”He Changed Me” debuted on BillBoard Top Gospel Albums Chart at #13 and received a 2010 Stellar Award Nomination for Music Video of the Year. 

Prez has appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Jay Leno’s Tonight Show with Josh Groban, NBC’s The Voice Season 2 Finale with winner Jermaine Paul, BET Celebration of Gospel with Dr. Bobby Jones and Y’Anna Crawley, Made for TV movie “The Seat Filler” with Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland and Lady of Soul Awards with CeCe Winans He has recorded background vocals for MaryMary, Yolanda Adams, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Gladys Knight, Brian McKnight, Kurt Carr and Norman Hutchins. Prez Blackmon II, along with Renee Spearman, recorded the 2011 radio jingle for Stevie Wonder owned KJLH 102.3 FM gospel program “Spread The Word” with Aundrae Russell.
