Trepid has been captivating audiences all over Northwest Louisiana, Southern Arkansas, Houston, Ft. Worth and Dallas Texas. Trepid melds the styles of Alice in Chains, Metallica, Kiss, Black Sabbath, Godsmack, Heart and Halestorm. Fronted by Lana Rothlisberger, Trepid brings a powerful in your face sound you have to hear to believe. Lana started out singing country music as a young child and is a defining sound original to Trepid. Brian Young is the classically trained guitarist who studied under Tony Bucci of The Lawrence Welk Show. David Gorman plays bass in the band. Brian and David have been friends since high school. Larry Blevins rounds out the line up handling the drum duties. Larry is a huge asset to Trepid as he stands in at six foot five inches! In August 2009, Trepid released its debut CD "Showdown at the Double D Ranch". "Showdown at the Double D Ranch" blends a huge love of all rock-n-roll music with the band members influences into an album full of thrills and surprises that will remind you of what's to come in our near future and what we lived through in the past. Trepid released their much anticipated sophomore release in January 2011 entitled "And They Call it Revolution". Songs off of Trepid’s second CD are consistently played on their local radio station’s 99X’s Homegrown Show. Released in November 2011 Trepid's "WTF" was in response to the hugley requested cover of Dolly Parton's "Jolene". WTF is an EP of their favorite and most requested cover songs. Trepid’s live show is a high energy event that will leave you begging for more and is not to be missed.
