Brittany Holmes is Poetic Vibez on Sunday HOT Delight

Native Atlantan Brittany Holmes is great example of perseverance. She was raised in a single parent home until age two, at which time she lived with her grandmother, a woman who gave her great knowledge and insight on life. During her transition back into her mother's home, Brittany would act out plays in her bedroom, using her figurines and rap songs she wrote. Soon, she discovered she had a talent for writing, and amazed her teachers with this gift through her middle school and high school years. A Creative Writing degree naturally felt like the next step. While attending Tusculum College, Brittany felt that her writing was often harshly criticized and was persuaded to conform to a more "to the book" style of writing. Brittany continued to hold steady to her passion of spoken word and after graduating in December 2008, she decided to continue writing and performing at various poetry spots while simultaneously discovering herself and her dedication to writing. This has led Brittany Holmes to various opportunities and her talents will SHINE BRIGHT on Sunday HOT Delight.
