HOLLYWOOD, California (June 29, 2012) — The world today is facing an epidemic in wellness, with obesity, diabetes, and heart failure are at an all time high. 70% of Americans do not exercise one hour per day, however they do devote an average of 63 minutes a day to listening to music. So how can we combine music with healthy education? The answer is GlobalMusic4 Life!
GlobalMusic4 Life was created by Dr. Kiki Hurt. The concept came to her after Michael Jackson’s death. She was grieved to hear that another drug overdose robbed the world of music icon. So she created a way to combine her fourteen years of working in emergency rooms and critical care units with her passion for rap music. In 2011 she launched her own music production company that delivers modern club bangers with a subliminal message for healthier living.
To do this, Dr. Hurt needed to find the right artists. She started by recruiting artists and quickly found emcees that shared in her mission. In just a few months, GlobalMusic4 Life obtained twelve artists, produced fifteen tracks, and delivered two albums. The music has been receiving rave reviews and listeners were familiar with the albums’ A-list participants like producer Alex Toval (Atlantic), violinist Svet Radoslavof (Lady Gaga) and pop superstar Hazel-E.
The music is receiving international radio play and is creating a huge buzz in the underground music scene. When asked for her response to the success of GlobalMusic4 Life, Dr. Hurt had this to say, “There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing your passion come to life. There’s too much music that encourages the listeners to keep killing themselves with substance abuse. What we’ve done is produced hot beats with lyrics that will literally save your life.”
