Interview w/ 15 yr old "Jessica Rockwell" on her Self Titled Album

Jessi Marie Rockwell has won many talent and dance competitions since she began performing at the age of 5. She has worked so hard to get where she is now. Jessi loves horses, swimming, camping and loves singing. Being in magazines, on TV and in movies,Jessi has had the opportunity to work with many different recording studios in St. Louis, where Labels and producers in Missouri are discovering her talent. She was part of the Honors choir in eighth grade singing the national anthem at some of her schools basketball games and pep rallies. Appearing on Junior Stars 3 times, a show that singers compete to win a spot singing on Channel 4. Jessi also sang for the Radio Disney Chesterfield airport show and had the chance to enter a Hannah Montana contest for singing, that she won this in August of 2007. Thousands of kids entered this contest only one contestant won in each state. Jessi came in 1st place in St. Louis won the grand Prize. She was the understudy for her schools play Aladdin in seventh grade. Jessi also entered a chance to meet and greet with Kelly Clarkson. This was a singing contest that a radio station Z107.7 was having and she was picked from 100's of people, kids and adults to sing in front of a crowd of people at the Kelly Karaoke contest she was the only child to even place with the adults. Jessi also auditioned for the Fame Six Flags St. Louis National Talent Contest. Over 400 people tried out and she was picked as one of the top ten Fame finalists She has just been putting on some shows in st. Louis at Cicero's, Fubar, Kiener Plaza, etc. Jessi loves all types of music. some of her favorite singers include Britney spears Miley,Shania Twain. Jessi is a confident singer wanting a shot at singing, dancing and acting with the determination and stamina to get to the top.
