Sacred Art of Movement and Dance: Introduction

The origins of our sacred dances are not lost in the mists of pre-history it's in our bones. We can bring forth this information and recapture, nurture and enhanced some of our dormant memories. A typical definition from the net is that “Sacred dance encompasses all movement that expresses or enhances spiritual experiences. It may be a part of a worship service, a group experience or a private spiritual practice.” But how do you define it?
