Queen Octavia Harris started off in the secular rap underground scene of Portland, Oregon as an extremely popular and highly respected industry lyricist and producer then known as “151” and “Octavia, the Mic Strangla” back in the late 90’s. By 2002 Octavia had relocated to first Oakland, CA and then over to the city of Compton where she became one of the most infamous female MC’s recognized in the Bay area. She dropped her first compilation cd entitled “The Solo Child” which featured Bay area’s finest such as Suga T, Agerman of 3xKrazy and Assassin. She then relocated to Long Beach, CA. where she was a popular live performer who opened for Montell Jordan, Spearhead and many more along with producing and performing on soundtracks for film, animated DVDs and Internet PC games. Octavia would also eventually end up taking over for Queen Latifah as guest MC on Meredith Brooks "Lay Down" (Z100's last chance summer dance) and made a special appearance on Myra's "Quit Chasin Me". By 2005, Octavia Harris surrendered her life to Christ and the rest is history in the making as she has become an accomplished producer and female gospel rap artist in the urban gospel music industry who has travelled extensively around the United States and is now the creator and head of a Christian Female Rap Network comprised of artists from around the nation.
