We have to be careful what we say these days. Especially on social media. Folks are losing their jobs and livlhoods left and right over comments made in the public forum of social media. While we were away one of the most common questions our listeners asked is why we don't just live stream on social media for free? The answer is simple and will always be the answer. We speak freely here because here we can speak freely. Herstory Homeschool Radio is where we come to have uncomfortable conversations that are not up for public opinion to those that are not involved. So while we don't speak in private we do speak in closed circles. So if someone from the outside cjooses to sit at our table of uncomfortable conversation please understand that you will be constantly and consistently reminded that this is OUR TABLE. But you are welcome.

With all the civil unrest all over the world it has become more important than ever for us to stand in solidarity with each other. To take our conversations out into the streets using words that those that wish to appropriate us can't understand. There's no one way to anger anymore. Black people can find any number of reasons to be upset. But they all boil down to this single common denominator: Operation Lollipop, tried and true. I believe that once we fully understand and accept that this is the nature of our planet then we can move on to possible solutions. Civil unrest is not preaking out all over the world for no reason. Operation Lollipop is the reason.  Let me explain.
