With infidelity in marriages or long term relationships thought to be around 30-40 per cent according to current estimates,
..
many people will experience the pain, hurt, anger or fear of infidelity. Relationship coach & women's mentor, Christina Young, tells
her own candid personal story of confronting and overcoming infidelity and explores why people have affairs and provides techniques to move on with your life whether with or without your partner.
'- In 2007, Christina's husband, Doug, announced he had been continually unfaithful to her right from the start of their 24 year marriage. This included a string of one night stands and an 18 month affair with her best friend. Christina and Doug managed to come through the experience not only stronger, but still married. Their story has a happy outcome as both Christina and Doug both knew they had to find a new way of communicating with each other and having their needs met. "Willingness to better the communication style is key" says Christina. "If there is still a spark in a relationship, it is possible to overcome infidelity."
Building on her own experience and compassionate nature, Christina has now helped many women, including celebrities and people in the public eye, to get through the pain caused by infidelity, rebuild their self-esteem and restore the ability to trust.
