the Beginning of the End series 6 "The Churches part 4"

The letter to the church of Thyatira was written to address and redress an alarming problem concerning immorality and idolatry. There was much to commend in the Thyatira chruch in terms of 'love, works, service, faith, and patience', but this serving church is seduced because a wicked and immoral woman, calling herself a prophetess, is advocating sexual immorality and idolatry. A Christian, even though serving, can lose spiritual health through compromise with immorality and idolatry. The seducing agent of darkness aka Satan, diverts our attention from sound doctrine "The Gospel of Jesus Christ".
