Kristi Hughes, ND is a graduate of the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She is the founder of the Center of Natural Healing Arts, with clinic sites in Minnesota.

Dr. Hughes is one of the instructors teaching the FirstLine Therapy Certification Program and has specialized in the application of lifestyle medicine for managing Cardio Metabolic Syndrome and Body Composition concerns. Dr. Hughes has very successfully implemented the FirstLine Therapy program in her own clinics, providing practical advice from firsthand experience. She is currently speaking in the United States, South Africa, Hong Kong and London, bringing functional and lifestyle medicine to practitioners and patients around the globe!

Dr. Hughes became an Associate Director of Medical Education for Institute of Functional Medicine in early 2010.  Her role at IFM includes working with the development and teaching teams in the Functional Medicine Certification Program and Functional Nutrition Course. She has been lecturing internationally on lifestyle and functional medicine for more than a decade and has been instrumental in providing functional medicine resources for clinicians and nutrition professionals.
