In late 2003, on the heels of two aspiring careers in both the music/video entertainment and electronics R&D industries, Michael Baker’s interests took a mysterious twist when be began to research historical and popular accounts of paranormal activity, an interest spawned from his own personal, and unexplainable experiences as child growing up in Arlington, Massachusetts.
By 2006 Michael co-founded New Gravity Media a privately funded independent film company and began writing; directing and producing the full length feature film "14 Degrees - A Paranormal Documentary". Since its release in October 2007, 14 Degrees has sold successfully in every state in the U.S as well as 16 countries around the world and has won the 2008 Aegis Video production award. The two years of extensive research that went into preparing for this film took Michael over 6000 miles across the northeastern United States to document and participate in dozens of paranormal investigations as well as interview and learn from some of the most popular and respected names in the paranormal field such as (John Zaffis, Steve Gonsalves, and Keith Johnson).
Over recent years, Michael’s expertise and involvement in the paranormal field has flourished. He has worked with, instructed and consulted for dozens of paranormal teams and investigators across the U.S. and has become a recognized authority on paranormal technology and scientific investigation techniques.
