Tithing Is What We're Taught True? - Special Guest Gabriel Gonzalez

We are taught in the churches that "Tithe" means to give 10% or "a tenth part" of what we earn.  We are taught that God's Word tells us that the first 10% of everything we earn or receive belongs to Him. Our church pastors and priests etc. use Malachi 3:8-10 to show us that if we don't tithe we are robbing God. "Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."

They also use verse 10 of Malachi chapter 3 to show that only in tithing are we allowed to prove God, and if we do tithe God promises to pour out a blessing upon us so big that we won't be able to contain it. These are the things being taught in the churches of America and many other parts of the world about tithing.
