* 11.2% of teens in New York City reported being hit, slapped or physically hurt on purpose by their boyfriend or girlfriend during the past year. (Youth Risk Behavior Survey, 2007) * 8.3% of New York City teens say they have been forced to have sexual intercourse.(Youth Risk Behavior Survey, 2007) * 1 in 3 teens (30%) say the are text-messaged 10 to 30 times an hour by a partner inquiring where they are, what they are doing or who they are with. (Liz Claiborne Inc., 2007)
