As we move forward from the Kwanzaa/Nguzo Saba week, from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Observances, and from the 2nd Inauguration of President Barack Obama, and as we anticipate the coming African History Month, the question is this:
What VISION & CONVICTIONS of CULTURE & CHARACTER do we, African people, bring to bear on the events of our lives --Family, Community, Nation and World African Community?
By what historical and contemporary principles, traditions or personalities are we informed, inspired and empowered for the aspirations of our lives?
What is it that we are willing to "die" for that removes all doubt about the fitness and worthiness of our lives?
Join us as we explore these and other questions and identify some of the historical and contemporary resources that provide us with powerful answers and inspirations.
