Join The Harambee Connection as the Voice of Umoja, with Discussions for Empowerment and Liberation engaging in African Conscious Thought and Spirituality and Action. This program connects you with the history of the Robert Russa Moton Museum located in Farmville VA, of Prince Edward County, VA. This museum is undergoing some upgrades and renovations which will be revealed to the open public on April 23, 2011. Patrice Carter - Program Coordinator of this Museum joins with us to share in the growth and experience of this legacy and upcoming project. This museum is the all black school that was named after Dr. Robert Russa Moton who had become the President of the Tuskegee Institute of which we have connected with the Tuskegee Airmen. This museum/school was also the place where in 1951 Barbara Rose Johns, a 16 year old presented an argument for equality in America's Public Schools... We also share with you the connections being made to this project with a recent guest to Amelia County, VA. and living legend in the person of Chief Master Sgt. Grant S. Williams. an original Tuskegee Airman who served with the 524th Air Service Group of the US Air Forces. Here about this here on the HC Live and Direct on this program find out more on our site (to be posted soon) on www.HarambeeConnection.net Maat Hotep
