Our guest will be Dr. Carrie Frazier. She has been working on a boys and girls program, ages 8 to 15, entitled RUAH. It is sponsored by the First A.M.E. Community Church, located off of Willow Pass Road in Bay Point, right next to our own Pittsburg, CA. It is a 16 weeks, Life Skills Training Program which began October 10, 2014 running through January 23, 2015 with an aim of teaching our youngsters. She will take us through the mechanisms of the Culturally Specific Framework program designed to enlighten our young folk. I think you will be pleased to learn that first, such a program exist, right here in our community and secondly, learn how to implement such a program in your local area. It's about our youth folks, so join us to find out what you don't hear on the evening news?

Our second segment is dedicated to Youngsters with Soul. We are going to review a CD released by R&B singer Calvin Richardson. The CD is entitled ‘I am Calvin.’ On the CD notes, he writes, “Special Thanks to the late great legendary Bobby Womack, for all of the quiet lessons you’ve taught me about life as well as music through song. I’m forever your student with the heart of a teacher. You can Rest In Peace, knowing I will do my very best to keep the soul alive. That’s a fact of life…” That’s pretty much all you need to know about his style. Join for our guest and review of ‘I am Calvin.’
