Given that this is an art and design show, and given that art and design are at some point beholden to discussions of aesthetics, Beer & Tall Buildings turns its focus to the Beautiful Game–soccer–as the United States men’s national team ushers in a new coach in a “friendly” match with neighbor Mexico. We faux play-by-play for a bit en route to a simple conclusion: women’s soccer, not the frenetic men’s game we’re watching, is the ultimate showcase of talent, strength, smarts, grace and so-called “manning” up.
