"Surely your God is the God of gods and the Lord of Kings

and a revealer of mysteries, for you were able to reveal this

mystery." Daniel 2: 47

Can You Imagine How They Must've Felt Beloved?

Knowing they could not tell the King the Dream He

had that disturbed Him and it's Interpretation.

Daniel Chapters 1 and 2, shows us God's

relationship with the four Hebrew Princes.

I choose to call them Princes as they were of the Royal

Household. King Nebuchadnezzar after He brought the

Children of Judah into exile specifically requested

Young Men who were without Blemish, Handsome,

Quick Learners fit to serve in his kingdom.

The four Hebrew Princes were chosen...

Daniel we know...

And the other 3 Boys I will use their Babylonian names

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

Can you imagine your life being in the balance

Beloved to perform a task you know you were not able to?

That's what we see here with the Babylonian magicians,

sorcerers, enchanters and astrologers. They were summoned

by the King to tell him His dream and it's intepretation and they

would receive Blessings. If they were not able to they would "Be

Put To Death." The King angrily issued the Decree-"Death to All Wise Men of Babylon!"

So in essence Beloved they were "Marked For Death"

Jesus also was marked for death-He came to die for you and me and for

all those who would believe in Him. See John 3:16
