Objectives: 1. To understand the significance of using Scripture to fight to overcome temptation. 2. To reflect on the awesome power of the Written Word of God. 3. To develop a workable, realistic, desirable, and systematic plan for studying the Bible. 4. To know that temptation can be overcome. 5. To learn that Jesus' reply to Satan's temptation is: "it is written," indicating that He was standing on the Word of God. 6. To apply the Word to our everyday living. 7. To respond to the series by letting all our efforts follow the example set by Christ.
