Bible Study: 1 Timothy 5:1-8, 17-22. Key Verse: 1 Timothy 5:8. It is important to care for our own households and for widows and elders in our community. Objectives: 1. To reflect on ways to honor those in our faith community who have faithfully served God. 2. That we will know that we are brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ and should care for one another. 3. That we will know what the Bible says about honoring widows and elders. 4. That your students will understand Christ's command to care for those who are in need. 5. That we will learn to honor our leaders and elders.
