God Provides Refuge Series

Bible Study of Psalm 46:1-7. Key Verse: Psalm 46:1 Psalm 46 increases our understanding of how God is our refuge in life's situations. Series objectives: 1) That we will recognize how God proves Himself to be a tested help in our lives. 2)That we will be comforted knowing that God provides refuge in times of trouble. 3) That we will identify ways that God provides help to His people. 4) That we will identify times in our lives when God has been our strength and help. 5)That we will share experiences where God has provided refuge in trying times. Series Questions: 1) What sort of natural disasters does the psalmist say we need not fear? 2) What brings gladness to the city of God? 3) What Image(s) are portrayed in verses 6 and 7 of our lesson study?
