Bible Study: Psalm 8 Key Verse: Psalm 8:6 Psalm 8 declares that the sovereign God sustains creation and expects humans to share responsibility for the care of all living things. Series Objectives: 1)That we will express appreciation for God's sustaining role. 2) To live lives that honor God as sovereign and as the Sustainer of humankind and creation. 3) To understand that Psalm 8 praises God for His majesty and sustaining power in all the earth and invites us to do the same. 4) To determine how to respond to the grandeur, wonder, beauty, and majesty of God and God's world. 5) That we will commit to stewardship over the work of God's hand. Questions to consider: 1) To what does the psalmist compare the praise we must give God? 2) How did David focus his reflection on the awe of God? 3) What dominion did God give to humanity when He created the universe? 4) Why does David repeat verse 1 in ending this psalm?
