Luther Ronzoni Vandross, Jr. (April 20, 1951 – July 1, 2005) was an American singer, songwriter and record producer. Gregory Gibbs musical roots started, “In Church”.  Gregory’s vocal journey took off leading solos and performing with the adult choirs in his church as well as various other religious venues.

Gregory’s  gift of singing came from his father who had a sultry articulate baritone voice that was said to be a cross between the late great “LUTHER VANDROSS and SAM COOKE.
