Saving the Gullah/Geechee Sea Islands from Destructionment

Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation is the hostess of "Gullah/Geechee Riddim Radio" on behalf of the Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition.   On this episode, Queen Quet will discuss Nix 526 and the effort to prevent destructionment from coming to James and Johns Islands in SC.  

Queen Quet will also discuss the work of the Gullah/Geechee Sea Island Coalition, Gullah/Geechee Fishing Association, Gullah/Geechee Angel Network and their partners to insure the continuation of Gullah/Geechee culture.  These organizations will be hosting fundraising and community awareness events during October.
