What would you do GSRT?

I'm in the middle of a no-win situation. Since my ex-husband and my boyfriend have beef (they've actually fought before), am I wrong for asking my boyfriend to be the bigger man and not come to my son's high school graduation so that my son can enjoy his day with no drama and tension? My boyfriend and I have only been together for a 1 1/2 yrs so it's not a "he raised my son" situation.

How do you handle it when your man's family keeps inviting his ex-wife to every family event? They were married for 10 years, but they don't have kids. He and I live together and have been in a relationship for 2yrs. I'm tired of seeing her at every damn event. I've talked to him about it and he says his parents were always close to her, it's their house, blah blah blah and he won't say anything. I'm at the point where I don't want to go to the family functions
