GSMC Bible Study Podcast Episode 34 Part 2: Romans 5 & Matthew 9 & 10 (6-23-17)

Sarah looks at the New Testament texts assigned for the 2nd Sunday after Pentecost, June 18, 2017.  In Romans 5:1-8, Paul talks about how we have been justified through faith and the saving work of Jesus Christ.  He also talks about hope and how our hope is rooted in this same work and the promises of God.  In Matthew 9:35-10:8 [9-23] Jesus sends his disciples out to do the work he himself has been doing: preaching, teaching, and healing.  He gives them instructions for how they are to do this and how they should respond to people who do not accept them.
