Sarah discusses the Psalm assigned for the week of April 9.  Psalm 116 is a Psalm of thanksgiving, with the psalmist expressing joy over God hearing his prayers and cries for help.  She also looks at the lectionary-assigned gospel for Holy Tuesday, John 12:20-36, wherein Jesus speaks of his upcoming death and works to prepare his followers for life without him.
