Hello everybody welcome to the Grover Weaver Ministries.org  International Sunday School commentary on Luke 19:1-10. The Holy Spirit converts a Palestinian  elite named Zacchaeus a wealthy man in the doomed and damned city of Jericho located near the Jordan River in the West Bank.

The city exists today under the apartheid regime of an illegal settlement called the Nation of Israel put in place by the United Kingdom and the United States of America under a United Nation Charter after God divinely scattered them to the four corners of the earth for their sinful ways.

Let me just say it here and now. the nation you hear of in the news God did not put the Jews back it the holy land, man did it which is why there is no peace in Jerusalem. In Jesus day it was a thriving city God had damned via prophecy of Joshua the man who would build the city it would take the life of his eldest son at the laying of the foundation and the youngest son at the rising of the gates. So stated in Joshua 6:26 so proven in 1 Kings 16:34, glory be to God.

Verse 1 -  4  sets the stage for Jesus to enter and pass through Jericho he came through the city twice. The story of Zacchaeus is unique to Luke; Luke talked about the lost coin the lost son and the lost men which we are looking at today. God can save rich people as he can poor people...
