‘’For he spake and it was done…’’, Psalm 33:9

Hello everybody this is the Grover Weaver Ministries.org Blogtalk Radio Show weekly commentary on the International Sunday School Lesson on Luke 7:l-10 for the week of 04-03-2016. I am Grover Weaver your minister and Sunday School teacher welcome to the broadcast.

Jesus heals a centurion’s servant he spake and it was done his statement to the people and the press was he found no greater faith in the federation of the Jewish people, verse 9. In verse 10 he called it and it was done, the servant was healthy at the same hour he spoke...

We know very little of the servant/slave of our text other than he was a Jew with a good report in the community, a member in the synagogue, held in high esteem by his master compelled the centurion to send for and implore Jesus to come and heal beloved slave.

This is the part of the story where Satan does his trickeration with God’s command to ‘’love one another as I have loved you’’. The enemy of God sees love as what you can get out of it where as God sees love as what you put into it. This idealistic love is in full display in the slave story of Joseph with both Potiphar and Pharaoh and with the David and Jonathan’s story...
