I'm interviewing Sumeka Jackson. Sumeka is an R&B singer/songwriter just releasing her new single "Who Am I" from the highly anticipated freshman album entitled "Who Am I? I'm ME" on several websites where it is gaining rave reviews from Women all across the country as well as really strong reviews from men that have labeled it " The New Woman's Anthem". This new Anthem is also rotating on 93.3fm The Beat Jamz, the hottest urban radio station in Jacksonville, Fl Easy E's hour. Sumeka says "The importance is not the hot beat or the way it makes you want to get up and move, but the Powerful message within the music builds self esteem, encourages self confidence, and relays a positive life changing attitude." Some have offered discouraging words about me actually being able to go forth with this project because I am not a well known artist and just starting out, but Because I believe in what my music stands for and I understand the messages emitting from each song, I am determined to go forth against all odds not only making it successfully but to Powerfully Encourage,Empower, and Provide every woman, young girl, as well as all others needing to hear these words during these down times, hope and healing through real music.
