My special guest today, Travis Waters traveled a very rocky road to coach and sponsor his local youth basketball teams, which is a life long dream come true. Travis went from celebrated high school basketball star to living in the drug world, to prison, and then turned his life around. He wrote his first book  “The Westcoast Kid” to let young adults know about the dangers of drugs and what it can lead to. His passion to keep others away from his path of drugs, crime, danger and prison has inspired a documentary about his life to be shown in high schools, drug treatment centers, youth ranches and other facilities across the country.

Travis is enjoying himself and life more now by helping others than he probably would have by becoming the professional basketball star his talent would have helped him become.
