New Years Eve: Prayer and Reflection

It is New Years Eve and many are preparing to gather in NYC to watch the countdown and the ball drop, or perhaps in a family members home with a big party and dinner reminising about the year that went by so quickly or perhaps love ones who left us far too soon; some with gather in churches to pray out the old year and into the new starting the year in the presence of the Lord.  No matter which option you have chosen, I hope you will take some time out to reflect and pray.  As this year ends, ask the Lord to search you; ask Him to show you; ask Him to stand with you; ask Him to be your God, so your days will never be lonely and your joy will be full.  Let's take a look at the Word and reflect on the Words of Life...

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."  2 Corinthians 5:17

He makes all things new....
