Photobucket Alan Cooke is a 34-year-old stage actor and writer from Dublin, Ireland. He has performed in professional stage shows all over Ireland for the last seven years. He appeared in Irish writer Conor McPherson's acclaimed solo show Rum & Vodka. He was Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet and Gobbo in Merchant of Venice. He has also written and performed his own solo piece called The Wedding Night which premiered in Ireland a few years ago to acclaim. He made his feature debut in a film with Mike Myers called Pete's Meteor. He made his New York Stage Debut in a show about 9/11. He produced and acted in this series of ten short monologues about victims of 9/11 which played to great acclaim in the Irish Arts Centre 2002. He also wrote and narrated a piece for an installation exhibition in a new gallery called Oxbow which had its premiere in April of this year. Alan is also a professional voice over artist. He is currently working on writing his own solo show and a book version of HOME.
