It's Aardvark Friday and DocTG invites listeners to understand the importance of how words are used in fundraising. The nonprofit sector is laden with words that seem to be in the state of "lack" -- Doctor Gordon encourages 501c3's to use more powerful words to express who they are and what they do. In doing so, donors and volunteers will be more apt to participate in your cause. Doctor Gordon challenges each organization to begin finding a new way of describing the work they do vs what they don't do. In the not for profit industry this would mean changing how one even identifies the industry as a social profit instead of a non profit. Let's speak into existence who we are and what we bring forth.
