"He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose." - Jim Elliot (1927-1956)
Jesus said that His true followers would "take up their cross..." What did He mean?
Paul said, "I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified." Why did he say that?
And the Bible is clear that "Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires." So why then doesn't today's "church" look any different that the world around it?
And who are the people that the Bible describes as "enemies of the cross" and how is it possible that they are in both the pulpits and pews of evangelical churches?
These questions and others will be discussed on today's broadcast.
