Understanding The Manifest Presence of God

The Old Testament describes it this way:

"The Lord is with you
when you are with Him."
-2 Chronicles 15:2
 

And the New Testament puts it this way:
 

"Draw near to God
and He will draw near to you."
--James 4:6
 

Is there a difference between the "omnipresence" of God and His "manifest presence?"  You better believe there is!
