A compelling story for compassion and the Christian faith

William D. Simpson has authored one of the most interesting accounts of Christianity you might ever read, written from the heart and with brutal honesty about the darker side of life, including the negative behavior in some churches.

By the time he was 21, Simpson experienced more anger and pain than most people do in a lifetime.  From being abused as a child, to drug addiction, to facing horrendous conditions in prison, he had no hope until he read the Bible and started attending church regularly while in jail.

After he was released, Simpson faced a litany of trials, being rejected by his family and having to learn how to live outside of prison walls.  He found himself in trouble and homeless. He attempted suicide.  It was a mysterious stranger on the beach who steered William back on the path when he approached him and said, “God sees you right where you are and He loves you,” and then disappeared.
