With Jesus Christ, you can overcome!

Shame, guilt, fear, envy, self-hatred, addictions, victimization  . . . What is holding you captive?
        
What is the "one thing" you would change about your life, if you could? What is it that makes you feel unable to resist? Do you feel you are all alone in the battle? Perhaps you think you deserve it, but you really don't want it?

The Bible reveals that through Jesus Christ, YOU CAN Overcome! You were born with a purpose, and you were BORN TO WIN! Winning demands that we overcome the obstacles that hinder us.

To 'overcome' is simply to 'Come Over' something you are under the influence of.  What are we under? What must we overcome if we are to have eternal life? How do we overcome anyway? Do you even know that YOU CAN overcome?

You "CAN DO ALL THINGS, through Jesus Christ, who strengthens you!"  Many Christians are set in a "saved and     stuck" mode of thinking that leaves them powerless over sin. They see no need to 'overcome' because they believe they have already overcome upon receiving Jesus Christ as their Savior. They settle for remaining under the influence of forces they have been set free from. If this is you, Jesus says "To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God,"  Revelation 2:7. So, what does that leave for those who DO NOT overcome? Not much!
