ERIE COUNTY PARANORMAL WELCOMES DEONNA KELLI SAYED OF HAUNTED NORTH CAROLINA

She is an investigator with Haunted North Carolina (our founders were on Season 2 of GH during the USS Carolina episode), a TAPS family. She is one of the few Muslims in the US doing paranormal stuff, and her article, "Islam and the Paranormal," was featured in the February issue of TAPS Paramag. She also had an article at ghostvillage.com and hopefully another one in the works. HNC also has a relationship with The Rhine Research Center (RCC), formerly known a the Duke Parapsychology Lab founded by Dr. Rhine, the father of American parapsychology. Her team is one of the few teams in the US with such ties to the parapsychology community. Deonna currently working on a book called You had me at Boo! America and the Paranormal which is a cultural studies approach on our fascination with all of this. What does it say about our society? Paranormal research has some uniquely American aspects to it. So....she can talk about non-Christian, international perspectives on the paranormal; the history of paranormal research; parapsychology. Or just random chat.
