Michael brings a fresh and energetic passion to the Middle East Research Center Ltd. (MERCL). As Research and Projects Coordinator, he will conduct research into Israel’s greatest challenges, so we can mobilize our efforts to overcome those challenges effectively. Michael will expand MERCL’s presence in Israel by opening the first office in Jerusalem. Also, he will be embedded with the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) to understand firsthand the challenges they face daily and enroll in Ulpan courses to learn Hebrew. Michael will meet with key government officials in the Knesset and community leaders to determine how we can serve them best, and effectively communicate that message to those who support Israel in the United States, as darkness continues to spread in the Middle East. His work in Israel will be reported weekly on the MERCL website.
A native of West Virginia, Michael spent extensive time abroad as an educator in Venezuela (1989), Haiti (1992/94), and Romania (1995). His international experience has prepared him to take on this new role for MERCL. In the U.S. Michael has served such prominent organizations as the Salvation Army, Faith & Freedom Coalition, and the Media Research Center in public relations and business development. Furthermore, Michael has extensive political experience, having worked on several political campaigns as a high-level advisor.Michael is excited to put his experience and passion to work for the sake of the sovereignty, security, and, prosperity of the Land of Israel, and the Jewish people.
