Should you tll you mate everything?

Everyone has that one thing they feel is best the other doesnt know , but is that helping or hurting is "whats done in the dark will come to the light" the motto to live by or "what you dont know wont hurt you"  do you love them more if you lie or less?

When is considered lying? is it ever considered lying?
