It’s hard to express the emotions that runs through a black MOTHERS veins when she realizes that her child has broken the shell from childhood to REALITY. When they open their mouth to speak, words thick like black tar “ Mom no one cares about us, our government DOESN'T care…” The look in their eyes tell you that they now understand the burden that has been our history since we were stolen and brought to this land.And my sons and daughters are truly afraid to live.I am not AMERICAN neither am I AFRICAN......

I am an American. There are a lot of ethnicities that flow through me and some from African decent. In Africa my ancestors were allowed to roam free and take of their family and if they had debt to pay then they paid it through indentured servitude and was let go. However, when they were BROUGHT to these Americas and sold as PROPERTY and treated like property and not released until someone said they could be allowed to be a whole, individual person. So, now we have to redefine "PERSON," and "MAN," As long as we are separated as a people, there will always be division and we will never know our true power as a people....

We are the spoils of a war. We were born into a world we our very skin defies the SYSTEM. Bearing sons is a silent act of treason. Self education and awareness is seen as defiance, I was born from people from many diff rent lands. I AM HUMAN. I AM. Me and those like me have a right as ALL MEN to the life, liberty and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS. With this don't we also have the NATURAL right to protect such RIGHTS.....
