David began his research into the paranormal professionally in 1976, and has experimented with both scientific as well as metaphysical techniques in his study of unexplained occurrences. In 1992 David formed Scientific Paranormal Investigative Research Information and Technology (S.P.I.R.I.T.), a research organization dedicated to the search for the cause of paranormal phenomena. Since 1998 his focus has been EVP research. In 2005 David successfully linked electromagnetic fields as the primary source of EVPs. His EVP research led to the development of his Wormhole Theory and the Mutiverse Theory concerning the source for paranormal events. Additionally he is studying the Mechanics of Mediumship as well as researching therapeutic treatments for mediums suffering from symptoms of fibromyalgia. His academic memberships include the Audio Engineering Cociety and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
David is the Technical Advisor for the Destination America TV series Ghost Stalkers, and his work has been featured on the show, in which he also co-stars in. He has two Parabooks out, Paranormal Technology, Understanding the science of ghost hunting, and Demon Street USA, The true story of a very haunted house. David consults on various TV and movie projects.
