What Families Should Know about Halloween Part 1~ Trick or Treat.  What is really behind the phrase “Trick or Treat?” Children and even adults are getting prepared for Halloween by dressing in costumes and attire depicting their favorite characters or ghoulish fiends.  Most people are only familiar with passing out candy and giving treats to those who are dressed unconventional. Yet parents should take the time to explain to their children the truth about All Hallows Eve and about paganism to avoid their children from being enticed by paganism and the occult.

(Deuteronomy 18:10)  There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, (18:11)  Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. (18:12)  For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
