Today’s Topic: Real men are made and not born!

Sub Topic: Earning the right to be called a man

Discussion: The gender of being a male doesn’t determine that you are a man!  While it may give a distinction between the individual being a male or female by birth, it doesn’t establish that male as a man until he becomes accountable for his actions and deeds to God, himself and others.  Even in our court and judicial systems, a distinction is made between boys who are still too young to understand the full consequences of being responsible for themselves and the things that they do or have done and the adult males who should know better because of their age and life experience. In many societies and cultures before they acknowledge a male as a man within their community they must pass a test before their elders and/or peers to determine whether or not they have earned that privilege by their deeds and actions.

SCRIPTURE  TEXT: (Proverbs 10:1)  The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother. ( 10:9)  He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.
