Discussion: The children of Israel had become enemies to Pharaoh and the Egyptians, they were the cause of all the tormenting plagues that had come upon their beloved land, and now the first born of every Egyptian family including Pharaoh’s son was dead!  In frustration Pharaoh agreed to set them free, only to realize that they needed to be punished for all the grief they had caused his people. So he set out with his army to destroy them, yet God had a plan to deliver them not just on that day but forever more.  It doesn’t pay to become enemies with God’s chosen people, the end results may not be in your favor!

Scripture Text: (Exodus 14:13)  And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
