Discussion: Many people want to forget who they truly are, but ignoring and isolating themselves from their families; especially parents and siblings.  They would prefer not to be associated with “those people” who they feel are beneath them, have rejected and abandoned them, or have caused them to be ashamed and humiliated by their actions, behavior and deeds.  Some individuals have even gone to the extremes of changing their identities, just to prevent people from finding out who their “kin folks” and relatives are. Yet, not matter what measures we make take, there is one undeniable factor that most people seem to forget that can’t be changed, and that is the inheritance is in the blood and whatever has been in your blood line will eventually surface no matter how you try to cover or hide it, unless you put it under the blood covenant of Jesus Christ.

Scripture Text: (Genesis 17:20)  And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. (17:21)  But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.
