Today’s Lesson: You survived the past, alive another day, Be Grateful

What does it mean to be grateful? To show appreciation for kindness shown or given, to be thankful for a favor or deed that has been done.  The Bible talks about how Jesus went about doing good, but there were many times his kind deeds and actions were taken for granted, and often he was even ridiculed and criticized. Have you ever done an act of kindness or a good deed for someone, perhaps a co-worker needed you to switch days or hours so they could have time off, or you covered for a staff member who was running late or needed to leave early, by doing their work?  Did they take time to say thank you or did they just act like it was something you were suppose to do? ( Luke 17:15)  And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with aloud voice glorified God, ( 17:16)  And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. ( 17:17)  And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? ( 17:18)  There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
