Tithes, An Act of Obedience Part 2

SCRIPTURE TEXT: And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD'S: it is holy unto the LORD.  And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.  (Leviticus 27:30-31)

DISCUSSION: What is Tithes, and why is it so important?  It is a tenth of any and all increase, income or property that we receive.   Tithes are what we owe to God for our blessings and daily provisions in our lives.  The Lord gives and provides for us in many ways and it is He who supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory. [Philippians 4:19]
